Dust was flying and crowds were bouncing as Big Shaq made his debut appearance on the Main Stage today.
Festival-goers from all corners of the Arena dropped burgers and abandoned chips as the London-based rapper served up some fire at his lunchtime set.
Never failing to crack a laugh, he treated the crowd as his very own mandem, entertaining them with bangers by Kanye, Jay Z and even Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ comedically introduced as the song that “changed my life”. By the time he got to the classic we all know and love, bucket hats were well and truly flying.
Finishing his set with massive thanks to his fans, we saw a glimpse behind the stage name as Michael Dapaah, former YouTube comedian and now living meme, soaked in the buzz of his set.
Shaq kept his cool over his rapid rise to fame, and although he might have been warm, man was DEFINITELY not hot.
