Led (sometimes rather interestingly) by the rhythm, lead singer Cole Becker brought his wildest, flailing dance moves to the stage, accompanied by lyrics matched unfailingly from adoring fans.

A stand out moment includes the band’s announcement that abuse will not be tolerated, sending out a clear message of care to their fans. This was quickly followed by a request for a ‘wall of death’, making clear that despite being safe, SWMRS will definitely not be punk rock party-poopers.

With one last song to go, gasping for breath with the sweat to show it, Becker got crowds screaming with promises of “a lot more coming”. He closed with a heartfelt salute, securing the band’s performance as one of the most memorable of my day.
