Friday

A sea of sparkly boots and fluffy cowboy hats galore in preparation for Theee Midwest Princess Chappell Roan taking over our main stage, STRUT Queer Line Dancing moseyed on down to our Aux tent with their line dancing workshop. Creating a safe space no matter one’s dancing ability, every person in that tent felt free to express, sashay and basic step to country classics creating memories for a lifetime right in the middle of Richfield Avenue.

Sunny days and screaming your favourite lyrics word for word with your mates, crowd favourite The Kooks performed their singalong classics on our main stage. In the middle of their hit for hit performance with a surprise no one could have ever guessed, Rebel Wilson appears on stage rapping alongside the group to Gangsta’s Paradise, all I can say is you very much just had to be there.

Saturday

The pop punk non binary star Nxdia Reading set can be summarised in three words: community, love and respect. Performing their hits “She Likes A Boy” and “More” even pausing mid performance asking everyone in the crowd to give their neighbor/friends a hug (if comfortable to do so) reminding people to remember to show love to the people they love.

Sunday

Houston superstar Travis Scott closed out Main Stage back at Richfield Avenue after his last set back in 2018, Scott made his only European Festival performance this summer not one to forget. Performing his diamond certified hits including “Goosebumps”, “Antidote”, “Highest in the Room” and more Scott was not disappointed with how the crowd gave every ounce of energy he left on that stage back to him tenfold screaming “I LOVE YOU” again and again to the masses of crowds. His Utopia hit “FE!N” performed not once but several times followed by him being elevated on a scissor lift serenading fans with the melodic sounds of “My Eyes ” and “90210 “. From the beginning to the end of his set fireworks, lasers, lights and pyro Travis brought the world of Utopia right to Richfield Avenue for an unforgettable one of a kind performance.

Rising sensation DJ EJ, brought her high energy blend of rap, trap & hip hop songs to a full AUX stage takeover, with fans flocking to her set filling it all the way out of the tent. Back to back hits had the crowd opening up moshpits every other minute, screaming “SWAMP IZZO”, hugging their mates singing their favourite rap songs word for word. DJ EJ continues to make waves in the underground scene, her AUX stage performance is testament to the growing fanbase she continues to build.
