Mina Rose

Mina Rose grew up in Brockley, SE London, exposed to many musical and cultural influences, her father and uncle produced House Music as 100 Hz, and her step-dad played in a Ska band. On her Mother’s side she is related to Urania Boswell known as Queen of the Kent Gypsies, and from her Father’s side, she received Jamaican influences. As a child, she learnt to play guitar and drums, and at 13 was able to secure a place at the well-known Brit School in Croydon.
