We catch up with Fall Out Boy
Fall Out Boy are having quite a moment; having recently reformed, the Reading festival favourites have impressed fans and critics alike with the recent release of their latest album, Save Rock And Roll. Having just topped the Billboard Charts in the US with this latest offering, the band will be bringing songs from their entire career to the Reading Main Stage in what is sure to an unmissable part of the weekend. Famed for their anarchic, high energy live shows, we CANNOT WAIT to see the boys back on UK soil...
To get us all in the mood, we tracked down Pete Wentz to find out what to expect from the band at Reading and the record that changed his life...
Home is…Los Angeles/Chicago.
Playing Reading & Leeds is so special because…it’s a legendary festival. The energy is like no other. It’s cool to be able to see so many other bands.
The record that changed my life was…Metallica "And Justice For All".
I don’t tell many people but I’m very good at…bragging (and procrastinating and complaining).
My favourite place on earth is…night time with my favourite humans- basically anywhere with some good tunes, friends and a drink. I'm simple.
When I was growing up, I wanted to be a…a berenstain bear.
My strangest festival moment to date is…landing late and driving straight to Reading and brushing my teeth right before we played.
If I could be someone else for the day, it would be…I think it'd be great to be Jay-Z. I’d just walk around be like "what’s up it HOV".
The last time I laughed until I cried was…pretty much happens every day. I think the last time was watching the "gallon prank" videos on YouTube (trust me they’re epic).
Reading & Leeds can expect…the Americans to bring the noise.
PLUS Pete lets us in on what would be on his Reading playlist...
