Enter Shikari - Main Stage
Hertfordshire’s very own Enter Shikari returned back to the Main Stage for this year’s Reading, and this performance was more high-octane than any before. Their brand of hardcore guitar and bass lines along with dance-y synth has grown an extensive following in recent years; shown by front-man Rou Reynolds proudly declaring themselves as the band that break down the genre divides of music.
Their active and energetic approach to music was also reflected by Reynolds going on to scale the stage, and inventing more than a few new ways to get the crowd involved, including human pyramids. The set included new material such as ‘Quelle Surprise’, released earlier in the year, but included all of their most famous tracks from the span of their career so far.
The performance was their last before they embark on a tour of the US this autumn.
