MGMT

MGMT are one of the names of 2008 already. Tipped across the board at the start of the year, the US duo’s debut album, ‘Oracular Spectacular’, has been a critic’s favourite on its release and live shows have seen praise from all quarters for what SPIN accurately described as ‘their shape-shifting pyschedelic pop’. 

With the debut seemingly assured of a place in critics end of year polls, these shows have the sense of ‘ones to watch’ at this year’s festival.
